❯❯ In this Concept trailer video I’m displaying visual commentary on how a film idea could look, The purpose of This Mashup / Fan-made / Concept trailer videos is to demonstrate and conceptualize specific or non-existing film ideas, compile and transform clips from previously existing productions to create a creatively unique vision and giving new meaning. I’ve transformed the original work by adding My own unique value such as added high-quality edits and special effects to create completely new, original movie trailers. ❯❯ In this channel, I’m creating Mashup / Fan-made / Concept trailer videos, which involve collecting multiple pieces of film footage from one or multiple movies and editing them to create a new trailer. Trailer mashups are often created for a movie that does not exist now or to change the genre of an existing film. These are derivative works and as such, may find protection from copyright claims under the doctrine of fair use. The trailer mashups are not only a user-generated form of digital creativity but a way to create anticipation for future releases, working in tandem with current movie trailers. Movie trailers are designed to give minimal plot detail and to create hype and anticipation. Fan-made trailer mashups allow the audience to perform their own cinematic spin on current movie footage. This allows the trailer to focus on a specific actor or portion of the film. It could even change the plot or genre of the film entirely.

The Inspiration behind this video:

New concept art from multi-Oscar-winning filmmaker James Cameron’s Avatar 2 shows off a stormy Pandoran sea. The upcoming film, currently set for a December 16, 2022 release, will be the first of four sequels that Cameron has been ambitiously working on for years now. The final film in the action sci-fi franchise will arrive in 2028, and for many, the scale of the Avatar series is so huge that it’s hard to even imagine just what’s going to be in store for audiences.

Back in 2009 when the first Avatar film arrived, it had been 12 years since Cameron had delivered a fictional feature film. His previous success in this respect had come from Titanic, a massive blockbuster that, while certainly a spectacular big screen experience for the time, was far removed from the heavy action of Cameron’s previous blockbusters like Aliens and Terminator 2: Judgement Day. So when Avatar arrived, not only was it a return to form of sorts, but it also far surpassed people’s expectations, instantly setting an extremely high bar for the use of 3D technology that many tried but failed to match in subsequent years.

“Avatar” director James Cameron says fans won’t have to wait too long for the next “Avatar” movie after “Avatar: The Way of Water.”

In an interview with CinemaBlend’s Sean O’Connell during a press day in London, Cameron said: “It’s been five years of basically unbroken production, right? So we started in September 2017, and we made/essentially completed all production photography and capture on two, basically two and a half movies: [“Avatar 2”], [“Avatar 3”], the first part of [“Avatar 4”]. And then we posted [“The Way of Water”], and now we’re going to post [“Avatar 3″]. So it won’t be 13 years until the next one. If everything works out, it should be only another two years. So that’s nothing.”

Ever since it debuted in theaters in December of 2009, James Cameron’s science fiction epic Avatar, has become a cultural phenomenon, it kickstarted the trend of 3D movies and is still the highest grossing movie of all time at the worldwide box office (though it was briefly unseated by Avengers: Endgame). The film is set in the future and follows Jake Sully, an injured former Marine who is recruited for a mission on the alien planet of Pandora. He soon is transported into the body of one of the Na’Vi and forms a close relationship with one of the Na’Vi whose name is Neytiri. From romance, action, suspense, and science fiction, Avatar has it all. Even eleven years after the film’s original release the CGI still holds up magnificently and there was clearly a lot of work that went into making the film. From all the motion-capture technology for the human actors to portray the Na’Vi (and even mo-cap for the film’s animal actors), as well as building the film’s extensive sets digitally and physically, there was clearly a lot that went into making Avatar look as beautiful as it does. From Na’Vi tribal dances, to kisses, creating both beast and machine, and performing out of this world stunts, Cameron and his team clearly went the extra mile when bringing Avatar to life. There is really no question why the film has become so big in the pop culture landscape and with the several sequels on the horizon, it’s footprint is about to get even larger.
